Our Mission

At USP, we commit to providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating Islamic learning environment that enables students to achieve their maximum educational potential and prepare them for their future roles in society as responsible and active citizens. We are committed to creating an environment in which every individual feels welcome and enjoy what they do. This includes students, parents, teachers, guests, and administrators. At USP, the pervading culture enables students, families and educators to work together to develop, live and contribute to a shared school vision.

  • For students, they must enjoy the learning environment, their individual needs attended to, and respected by teachers, peers, parents, and administration.
  • For teachers and other non-teaching staff should have an employee-friendly workplace, be fairly treated by students, colleagues, parents, and administrators. The environment should entice them to enjoy and feel passionate about working at the school. Teachers should also receive support and freedom to activate their creativity.
  • For parents, they should always feel welcome at the school and appreciated. They should be made to feel as partners and not as strangers walking into the school. This environment must foster good and respectful communication between school and parents. It should be encouraging for parents, staff, and students to contribute to the functioning of the school and to the schooling experiences of the latter. Parents and school staff must be accommodated to feel that they are part of the decision-making process in egalitarian ways.
  • For Guests, they should be able to feel the positive culture of the environment as soon as they come into it.
